1C: Module Wrap-Up

As you reviewed the material on the components and principles of effective and inclusive teaching and course design, was there anything that surprised you or that was unfamiliar? Where do you believe your strengths lie? Which aspects do you feel you could stand to improve?

By completing this introductory module, you have:

  • Reflected on what it means to be an effective and inclusive instructor;
  • Learned more about what it means to design effective and inclusive courses
  • Become a bit more familiar with the Canvas environment and course structure

In future modules, this wrap-up page will also re-cap any "assignments" you should be working on to build materials for your course. Always keep in mind that course design is an iterative process; these "assignments" are opportunities to draft as much as you can but you will also be returning to many of these materials at later points of the course and beyond.

At this point, you are ready to jump in and start working on designing / re-designing your course!
