my.SDSU is the official online portal for student admissions, student records, financial aid, tuition and fee payment, and more. On my.SDSU.edu Links to an external site. you can log into your my.SDSU account as well as access support resources, FAQs, and training guides.

You may have heard the following words associated with my.SDSU:

• PeopleSoft 
• PeopleSoft Campus Solutions
• Campus Solutions (abbreviated from "PeopleSoft Campus Solutions")

Simply put:

• Oracle is a company that provides human resource management systems called, "PeopleSoft".
• PeopleSoft is a suite of applications. There are many. For example, PeopleSoft created "PeopleSoft HCM" for managing employee records (absence reporting, checking benefits, and other HR tasks). On campus, it is often abbreviated to "PeopleSoft" - this is where using the correct terminology will clear the confusion!
• PeopleSoft Campus Solutions is an application for student information management built explicitly for schools. On campus, we refer to this as "my.SDSU."
