Facilitating Development of Empathic Communicative Behaviours in Students with VR, proposed by School of Communication faculty member, Godfried Asante, uses VR technology to develop intercultural competence and empathy in an increasingly divided world. VR headsets and learning environments will allow students to experience a variety of intercultural interactions.

SERVE STUDENT LEARNING OF VISUAL CONCEPTS

The introduction of Virtual Reality Experiences in Organic Chemistry to Better Serve Student Learning of Visual Concepts, by Chemistry Department faculty member Jeffrey Gustafson, integrates virtual reality into three organic chemistry courses to provide students with a better understanding of key concepts. With the launch of four new educational modules, students will be able to interact directly with molecules through Nanome, a collaborative VR software.
