Student Specific Permissions
Student Specific Permissions
Student specific permissions are used for classes that require department or instructor consent to register.
These classes include:
- Independent study
- Directed study thesis
- Internships
Student Specific Permission can be assigned before the registration period begins and can be used by a student once their registration window opens through the Schedule Adjustment deadline.
To access General Permission Numbers, select the Class Permissions icon next to a class in your schedule.
Alternatively, you can navigate to your Class Roster and select Class Permissions or the Class Permissions icon.
Student Specific Permissions require that a faculty or a department representative add the student's EMPLID directly to the list of allowed students in the course. No permission codes will be generated or distributed.
Review the Student Specific Permissions guide to learn more.
