Accessing the Grade Roster
The Grade Roster icon will be available in your Schedule on the first day of finals. To grade a class, select the Grade Roster icon next to the class you wish to grade.

You have the option of Manually Updating grades in my.SDSU or using a Canvas Import.
To Manually Update grades in my.SDSU, navigate to the Grade Roster and use the drop-down menu and apply a grade for each student.
A Manual Update is helpful for smaller class sizes.

To update grades using an Canvas Import, export your gradebook from Canvas and then upload your grades to the my.SDSU Grade Roster.
Consider using the Canvas Import method if you have a large class size.
Either a Manual Update or Canvas Import will work for any class.

To post your grades, change the gradebook Approval Status to Approved and then select the Post button. Once your grades are posted students will be able to view them, so please make sure to review your grades before posting them.

You can change posted grades in my.SDSU only during the grading period. Please note that this option should be used very sparingly. If you need to change grades after the grading period, please visit the Office of the Registrar's Grade Changes page for instructions.
