Take our AAAI Micro-credential Course!

A team of Instructional Technology Faculty Fellows developed the AAAI micro-credential course to demonstrate to instructors how to use AI effectively in their classrooms. This self-paced course covers how AI works, how to use AI ethically and responsibly, what AI can do in the classroom, and how to find AI applications that are right for you.

Instructors have the option to audit the course (reading/viewing the material without completing the activities) or complete the course activities to receive a micro-credential certificate. Course activities include:

Module 1: Quiz
Module 2: Action Plan Activity
Module 3: Syllabus Statement Activity
Module 4: 'App Chat'
Module 5: Prompt Optimization Activity

You can self-enroll here, which will add you to the course and it will show up on your Canvas dashboard. While we recommend spending some time going through it at your own pace and completing the micro-credential, participation is voluntary.
