In this module, we’ll take a closer look at current GenAI apps and what each can do.

It’s impossible for any list of GenAI apps to be comprehensive. Further, we cannot explore career-specific or specialist apps in a mini-course like this. However, we can offer a good sample of what GenAI can do. If you’re looking for additional GenAI apps beyond what we could fit into this module, the image at the bottom of this page may help. It presents numerous options in a variety of categories.

To complete this module, you will engage with at least three of the six demo pages offered and read/watch the materials provided on those three pages. You will also choose specific apps to explore in more depth later—ideally, one from each of the three demo pages you dive into in this module. But you’re welcome to go beyond that if you feel inspired, and you may want to check out several to help you hone in on what has the most personal appeal.

Given that chatbots are so versatile and ubiquitous, we ask that everyone complete the first demo page, which focuses on the major chatbots.

However, beyond this demo page, you get to choose two more. We encourage you to challenge yourself and explore areas you haven’t explored before. For example, if you’ve already experimented with image generators, consider branching out and completing a demo page to investigate something less familiar.
